Modern
medical approach in psychiatry bigan at the beginning
of XIX century. In this period epochal discoveries revolutionized
diagnostic methods and therapy. Thought that all vital
phenomena have their own source in physicalchemical
processes in human body caused great
scientific development.Psychiatry got some forms by
which is recognized even today.
XX century was apoch of revolution in psychiatry: psychotherapy,
organotherapy and sociotherapy revolutions. During this
period influence of moral therapy was less because of
sudden development of medicine. The caracteristic of
this period was different approach, different
conceptual orientation and schools. There was constant
need for adequate approach to mentally disturbed persons
and improvement of diagnostic methods and therapy. Today,
persons who need this help are examined at neuropsychiatric
ward of the hospital. If there is need the person goes
to treatment to appropriate institution.
